RF connectors are used to connect cables to other devices and are specifically designed to maintain the shielding on the cable. High-quality connectors offer reliable, long-lasting connections, Low Pim Connectors.
There are two distinct connector styles; male and female. Male connectors have a protruding metal pin in the center, whereas female connectors have a receptacle to receive that pin. Depending on the connector size and frequency, some may be sexless and mounted flush instead of mating.
Within digital, video, audio, Network,RF Coaxial system, and microwave industries, there are several varieties of coaxial cable connector types. Each offers unique benefits based on the end use or application. Below are some of the most common coaxial connector types, along with their distinguishing characteristics and intended applications,DIN 7-16, N, 4.3-10, BNC, SMA, NEX10, MCX, TNC, QMA, IPEX/U.FL etc.
RF Cable Assemblies high-frequency cables are suitable for low-loss and distortion-free transmission of high-frequency signals. The fastest transmission of data takes place directly which is why assembled coaxial cables from ROHO ensure powerful and uncomplicated data communication. The shielded design makes ROHO assembled coaxial cables far less sensitive to external interferences such as damage or electromagnetic fields. Wired solutions are suitable for highly complex infrastructures where flexibility, security and performance count, such as measurement lines in test laboratories. Furthermore, they are used in electrical and radio technology, communication and data technology - all areas where high demands on transmission quality or shielding are made.
The product range incorporates all commonly available RF cable assemblies and the development of customized solutions from DC up to 50 GHz.
ROHO offers RF adapters design as well as T and Cross RF adapters. RF adapters include some connectors interface types such as SMA,TNC, N, BNC, SMP, 4.3-10, DIN 7-16, 2.92mm, 3.5mm, NEX10, QMA ,MCX, UHF and F.
RF adapters are available in male, female, plug, jack, receptacle or sexless gender, in 50 Ohm, 75 Ohm, 78 Ohm or 95 Ohm impedance and in standard polarity or reverse polarity. RF adapters are available in quick disconnect (QD), push-on or standard interface as well as straight, 45 degrees right, radius right angle or right angle versions. ROHO offers RF adapters in standard and high performance with brass and stainless steel body as well as some hermetic, bulkhead or 4 hole panel configurations.
RF attenuators act as resistors and are used to reduce the level of a signal within radio frequency applications and RF circuits. They have many benefits, including protecting a circuit stage from receiving a current that's too high. RF attenuators can also improve impedance match, ensuring power transfer from source to load is optimised.
RF attenuators come in three types:
Fixed RF attenuators provide an unchanging value where specific attenuation levels are needed.
Switched RF attenuators are made up of switches that allow varying levels of attenuation.
Variable RF attenuators are used when it's necessary to continuously change the level of a signal.
RF Terminators (also called RF loads or dummy loads) are applied to an open end of a transmission line, e.g. an RF port, to prevent the back-reflection of an RF signal. They are used in a large variety of test and measurement, defense and communication applications.
RF load terminations are available in 2.4mm, 2.92mm, 7/16 DIN, BNC, C, Mini SMB, Mini SMP, N, QMA, SMA, SMB, SMC, SMP and TNC connector types. ROHO RF load terminations are constructed of an aluminum finned heatsink, beryllium copper, brass nickel plated or stainless steel. 0.25 Watts, 0.5 Watts, 1 Watts, 2 Watts, 5 Watts, 10 Watts, 25 Watts, 50 Watts and 100 Watts models RF load terminations are available.
ROHO low power, medium power and high power RF load terminations products are offered with impedances of 50 Ohm, 75 Ohm or 93 Ohm. Frequency ratings for these RF load terminations range from DC to 50 GHz. RF load terminations are available in female, jack, male and plug genders. RF load varieties from ROHO are RoHS and REACH compliant.
ROHO power dividers (also known as RF power tappers or coaxial splitters) are available with 50 Ohm or 75 Ohm impedances. 50 Ohm power dividers / coaxial splitters from ROHO can be in 2 Way, 3 Way, 4 Way, 6 Way, 8 Way or 12 Way port designs. 75 Ohm power dividers / splitters come in 2 Way, 4 Way or 8 Way port designs. Many of our RF power divider / splitter products are RoHS and REACH compliant.
ROHO's 50 Ohm power dividers can be with 2.92mm, BNC, N or SMA connector types, RF power tappers with 7/16 and Type N connectors. Our 75 Ohm power dividers are available with a BNC connector. Ratings for the ROHO RF microwave power dividers range from 1 Watt to 50 Watts depending on style, with RF tappers going to high power of up 700 watts based on model. Frequency ratings for our RF dividers range from DC to 26.5 GHz, RF signal power tappers frequency range of up to 2.7 GHz.
